The NO WAR Song | words & music written by J.D. Hanke
1. We had to fly out to "protect" what we don't understand
where we have to go this is not our land
why don't you tell us what we are fighting for? Mr. President
2. You know our men will die again on foreign soil
after years of fighting we know we are all strangers here
we are strangers there, we are strangers everywhere, so we are
3. before they will lay me down I wanna see my country again
they don't allow anymore, hey warrior, what do we explore?
the sun is rising honey, and you are so far away from me
Chorus :
So tell me Mr. Politician is it just for the money?
you risk my life 'n' I won't see my honey anymore
so don't fool me around am American bound
with a true heart to my country but not dirty money you're greedy
4. We went out to kill people we don't know
destroy their houses, their families and their land
so better tell me what is it good for? or is it already the end? Mr. President
5. We fight for religion and we fight for more justice,
we fight for democracy 'n' for black 'n' whites same rights
sometimes we fight for our lives simply to survive these fights
6. you called us to give our lives in your war to make it right
aren't your wars make you rich while the soldier give his life?
dying in a foreign land coming home in a box
Chorus :
so tell me Mr. Congressman is it just for the money?
you risk my life 'n' I won't see my honey anymore
so don't fool me around am American bound
with a true heart to my country but not dirty money you're greedy
Chorus :
so tell me Mr. Politician is it just for the money?
that you risk my life 'n' I won't see my honey anymore
so don't fool me around __ am American bound
with a true heart to my country but not dirty money
with a true heart to my country but not dirty money
about
"The NO WAR Song" is a song which is part of the 'PEACE Trail Movement' and an early EP song release from the album "Beautiful Rose of America" which will be released in winter 2021.
The song is about soldiers called to war by their government, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Syria etc., to make corrupt and greedy politicians more rich as well as mega companies like Halliburton Oil and Gas Company, they all make billions of $'s when going to war! (after WW II all wars were illegal wars until today, with no mandate of the UN!!! War is the wrong way!
We all know, wars are big business for countries and their politicians, this is the most dirtiest, inhuman and life contemptuous "business" of mankind on this planet... and all this killing just because some corrupt politicians are greedy for power and more dirty money!!!
....but the soldier "will risk his life... Ladies & Gentlemen, we have to get rid of corrupt and greedy politicians etc... this is also your country..., the country you live in... we are writing the year 2020! Make Peace and Love but No War!
Here are the lyrics of the song :
